Justin Bieber song with haunting lyrics jumps in sales as ‘disturbing’ Diddy clips resurface --[Reported by Umva mag]

A Justin Bieber song that hints at the singer suffering emotional distress has gotten a considerable boost from recent fan speculation that the lyrics are linked to Diddy.

According to Luminate, Lonely, the second single from Bieber’s sixth studio album, ‘sold nearly 1,500 copies last tracking week,’ a massive increase compared to just 100 copies the week before.

The increase can seemingly be attributed to fans online speculating that the song’s lyrics reference abuse Bieber suffered at the hands of Diddy – a conspiracy theory of which there is no actual evidence.

Still, in the wake of multiple lawsuits against Diddy and, most recently, his arrest for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution in September, there’s been renewed interest in Bieber and Diddy’s relationship back when Bieber was a teen. This speculation grew in fervor in the wake of the more recent news that one of Diddy’s hundreds of accusers is a nine-year-old boy, among other underaged victims of both sexes.

A resurfaced throwback clip from Bieber’s YouTube channel shows a 40-year-old Diddy and a 15-year-old Bieber hanging out at Diddy’s residence, saying at one point that they’re going to ‘go get girls.’ Many have found it disturbing in light of the allegations against Diddy.

Some social media users think that Bieber’s song Lonely, from his 2021 album Justice, may contain clues that point towards Bieber previously suffering abuse from figures in the music industry like Diddy – causing the increase in the song’s sales.

Some of the lyrics include: ‘And everybody saw me sick / And it felt like no one gave a s**t / They criticized the things I did as an idiot kid.

‘What if you had it all / And it felt like nobody to call? Maybe then you’d know me / ‘Cause I’ve had everything/ But no one’s listening / And that’s just lonely. I’m so lonely. Lonely.’

User @helfut shared a picture of the song’s lyrics on X and wrote: ‘Listening to Justin Bieber’s Lonely hits different after knowing that Diddy scandal.’

In the resurfaced clip, Diddy tells the camera that he’s been given ‘custody’ of Bieber for ‘48 hours.’ 

The clip begins with Diddy showing Bieber his sports car and promising him he can drive the vehicle once he turns 16.

‘You ever seen the movie 48 Hrs? Right now [Justin is] having 48 hours with Diddy, him and his boy,’ the rapper tells the camera.

‘They’re having the times of their lives, like where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.’

He continues, ‘I have been given custody of him. You know, he’s signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album. I did Usher’s first album. For the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go full. Buck full crazy.’

The rapper then asks Bieber what he wants to do, to which Bieber responds, ‘Let’s go get some girls.’

‘Man after my heart,’ Diddy responds. ‘That’s what I’m talking about.’

Diddy, previously one of the most powerful people in the music industry, mentored artists like Biggie Smalls, Mary J Blige, and Usher. But in the wake of the harrowing allegations of systemic abuse against Diddy, many have wondered what exactly transpired between Diddy and Bieber in those 48 hours.

X user @batchnotnormal wrote, ‘Disturbing then and even more disturbing now.’ @clowntown75 agreed, posting, ‘Ummm…gross…why is the entertainment industry so vile?’

The speculation has been fueled by similar rumours about Usher’s time with Diddy.

Usher lived in Diddy’s New York home for a year when he was 13, an experience dubbed ‘Flavour Camp’ that was meant to help shape Usher as a musical artist.

He later recalled the experience: ‘There was always girls around. You’d open a door and see somebody doing it, or several people in a room having an orgy. You never knew what was going to happen.’

When asked if he’d let his own child live with Diddy, Usher said emphatically: ‘Hell no.’

In the wake of Diddy being taken into custody in New York on September 17 – after which he was refused bail twice despite offering a $50million (£37.4million) bond – concerns have grown for Bieber, with insiders claiming he has shut himself away. 

A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Bieber is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it so he has shut off. 

‘So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him. Justin hasn’t been responding on this since the home raids. He’s not going to.’

They also added that Bieber deeply regrets their 2023 collaboration and wouldn’t have done it if he had known of Diddy’s alleged illegal activities.

They continued: ‘He had a long break from Diddy when he believes most of this took place and he had distanced himself from him.

‘He was featured on Diddy’s most recent album, and had he known any of this, there is no way he would have done it.’

This is not the first time fans have wondered if there was something insidious about Diddy and Bieber’s relationship.

In a 2023 YouTube video titled ‘Justin Bieber’s Mom Speaks out: Usher & Diddy’s Impact on His Life Exposed,’ Bieber’s mother claims that Diddy offered Bieber cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol at his parties, forcing her to intervene.

Another clip, taken in 2010 when Bieber was 16, shows the young singer stuttering and looking unsure of himself as Diddy asks him repeatedly if he’s been avoiding him.

So far, Bieber has not spoken out about his relationship with Diddy, so all suggestions of wrongdoing against the pop star are purely speculative.
