Although all three are very important to Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold should be prioritised by the Merseyside club given his unique talent and age.

Both Van Dijk and Salah are on the wrong side of thirty and are only likely to be offered short-term deals, while the England international is the future of the Reds and should their Dutch captain leave, the armband is likely to pass onto the right-back.
