Boy, 15, stabbed in rush hour knife attack at Sloane Square tube as commuters left ‘traumatised’ and station closed --[Reported by Umva mag]

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been brutally stabbed at Sloane Square Underground station as horrified commuters were left “traumatised”.

The teen was knifed at the busy London station just before 3.20pm today and taken to a major trauma centre.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the schoolboy’s condition is not yet known.

Emergency services including an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance were sent to the scene on Lower Sloane Street.

No arrests have been made so far.

An eyewitness shared on social media: “So sad. A lot of traumatised commuters after what they said was a stabbing in Sloane Square tube.

“Watched amazing @AirAmbulancesUK land on Duke of York Square. Hope they pull though #chelsea.”

Meanwhile a TfL spokesperson confirmed the station would remain closed while investigations continue.

“This station is closed while Police deal with an incident. London Underground tickets will be accepted on local bus services,” they said.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 15.27hrs on Monday, 07 October to reports of a stabbing on Lower Sloane Street, Sloane Square.

“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found who they believe to be a 15-year-old boy, suffering from a stab injury.

“He has been taken to hospital and we await an update on his condition.

“Enquiries continue.

“No arrests have been made at this time.”

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.26pm on Monday 7 October to reports of a stabbing at Sloane Square Underground Station, SW1W.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a teenager at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.”
