The most interesting part of the update is that there will be a big focus on how it saves players’ energy. Not only will it save on energy bills but it will also stop players from leaving their games on to grind XP. As it stands, you get XP for every match you participate in, even if you don’t do anything during the match. It’s meant to reward people who are not as skilled at the game, but it has led players to leave their game on for hours just so that they can gain XP. Not only does this give those players an unfair advantage against others, but it also makes the game less fun for them. If a large number of people playing the 100-person battle royale mode aren’t actually playing, then it is not as fun and chaotic to play.
