A couple’s genius plan of storing drugs in a bag with ‘definitely not a bag full of drugs’ written on it has surprisingly failed.

A man and a woman were stopped by officers in Portland, Oregon, on Tuesday after they were found driving in a stolen car.

But when police searched the vehicle they found cash, a loaded gun, scales, and a bag that had ‘definitely not a bag full of drugs’ printed on it.

Not quite trusting the bag’s writing, clever detectives opened it and – in a shocking twist – found more than 10 grams of fentanyl and meth.

Mia Rochelle Baggenstos, 37, and Reginald Lamont Reynolds, 35, were arrested on drug charges and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Meanwhile in Florida, a woman was arrested after her idea of writing ‘a bag of drugs’ on her bag of drugs backfired.

Lauren Riley, 41, was in a vehicle being searched by police when they came across the mysterious bag.

Officers found crack cocaine, powdered cocaine, crystal meth, Xanax pills and other narcotics inside, The Smoking Gun reports.

In east London a prolific drug gang leader who compared himself to notorious Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar was jailed.

Shahen Ahmed, 34, was snared by detectives who found he was involved in three sophisticated Class A narcotic lines.

It was running under the banner of ‘Killah’ from December 2021 to June 2022.

Cops found a video of him bragging about his criminal activity, referring to himself as ‘Pablo’ and running the streets.

The dealer appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 13 where he was jailed for nine-and-a-half years for being involved in the supply of Class A drugs.

Det Insp Sam Bennett, from Op Yamata, said: ‘My team seized a number of devices from Ahmed. On examination my officers found a video of Ahmed proudly bragging to an unknown passenger about his criminal activity, referring to himself as ‘Pablo’ and running the streets.
