Lloyds Bank down UPDATES: Hundreds of users also locked out of mobile banking services at Halifax and Bank of Scotland --[Reported by Umva mag]

THE Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed its services are back up and running following a widespread outage that also affected hundreds of customers at Halifax and Bank of Scotland this morning.

At its peak, more than 2,000 Lloyds customers reported issues, according to Downdetector.

One furious customer posted on X to say he had been into a branch of Lloyds this morning to pay for his mother’s funeral but was unable to make the transaction as payments were not being accepted.

Users had also been locked out of mobile banking services at Halifax and Bank of Scotland, which are part of the Lloyds Banking Group.

In a statement on X, Lloyds Bank said: “Our Internet and Mobile Banking is working as normal.”
