There are problems on the rails and roads this morning after a crash on a busy A road and a signalling fault at a major London railway station.

The signal fault at London Bridge is causing delays on Southern and Thameslink services to and from the station.

Journeys, including trains towards Gatwick Airport, will take at least 20 minutes longer than normal as they are diverted.

The disruption is expected to last until 9am, causing problems for rush hour commuters.

Meanwhile on the roads, the A21 is closed in East Sussex after a crash between a car and motorbike yesterday evening.

The road is closed in both directions near Robertsbridge and is likely to stay closed for several hours while police are at the scene.

A diversion has been put in place and drivers are advised to find an alternative route.
