The hearing in the European Parliament (EP) of the designated Portuguese commissioner, Maria Luís Albuquerque, will take place in the morning of November 06 in Brussels, sources from that European institution confirmed to Lusa.
According to EP sources, the hearing of Maria Luís Albuquerque for November 06 was decided today at the conference of presidents.
This body consists of the president of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and the presidents of the political groups: European People’s Party (EPP), Socialists & Democrats (S&D), The Left, The Greens, Renew Europe, European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) and Patriots for Europe.

Interviews with the designated commissioners begin in the afternoon of November 04 with the hearing of Maroš Šefčovič, designated commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, Interinstitutional Relations, and Transparency.
The hearings end on 12th, Tuesday, with the questioning of the six designated vice-presidents, including the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
