After ditching her gold shoes, the singing sensation was spotted hopping into a taxi, as a man behind her clutched her furry pink jacket. Charlotte looked bleary-eyed but in great spirits as she sat in the backseat and headed off from the awards. Glam nights out used to be much more of a regular fix for Charlotte, who enjoyed her fair share of parties at the peak of her noughties fame. But now, the star has swapped the wild antics of her youth for a totally different lifestyle. The Crazy Chick songstress threw her life-savings at a £1.5million mansion, named Rhydoldog House, in Powys, Wales. She claims a stay there will improve mental health and reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes. The 47-acre former home of Laura Ashley has been transformed into a hippie wellness retreat by Charlotte. She admitted she had sunk “pretty much” her entire life savings into the eco-project property and previously said she faced going “broke” due to the renovation costs. Rhydoldog House opened officially last year after years of backlash including stalled planning applications, battles with eco-warriors over how she intended to dispose of waste from the site and other building problems. The seven-bedroom mansion – which she renamed The Dreaming – has three storeys, a helicopter landing area and a 200-year-old barn located on its 47 acres. She described the “inspiring wellness project” as “one of the biggest, riskiest and potentially most rewarding challenges” she’s ever faced. Guests can enjoy wellbeing activities including foraging, mythic storytelling, star-gazing, cold water immersion, den building and herbalism. Charlotte explains that her life experiences have led her to this and has spoken of the important role that nature plays in her life. She said: “Nature soothes us, it’s peaceful and helps us deal with whatever is going on in our lives… I don’t think my interest in healing is to do necessarily with the fact that was a famous child or anything like that because, I mean, I had a ball for the majority of the time – I travelled the world and I sang with orchestras. “I’m on my own journey I think, on unblocking myself, you know, working through trauma, childhood, all of it – the same as everybody really, but I just feel really lucky to have started that process because so many people haven’t even started the process.” In her personal life, the singer shares two children, Ruby, 17, and Dexter, 15, with her rugby ace ex Gavin Henson. They split in 2010, and she went on to marry her husband Jonathan ‘Johnny’ Powell, with whom she shares a daughter named Freya, welcomed in 2020.  Charlotte began dating musician Johnny Powell soon after splitting from Gavin. In fact it was so soon after, she asked Gavin for permission to start dating Johnny – who’s a guitarist in Charlotte’s Late Night Pop Dungeon. Speaking to the Telegraph, she said: “Well, I’m really happy with my dude. He’s lush, he’s so smart, and he really looks after me.” SplashCharlotte looked bleary eyed after partying in Camden[/caption] SplashCharlotte was holding hands with a pal as she made her way to the cab[/caption] WNSCharlotte admitted she had sunk “pretty much” her entire life savings into the eco-project property[/caption]

The 38-year-old donned a dazzling black gown and her hair down, but ditched her shoes as she made her way out of the venue after partying into the night.
