CX SERVICES has announced the opening of a new office in Rothesay, Isle of Bute, to meet growing demand for its services.

Initially, the Dunoon-based company will hire 15 staff, with plans to expand capacity to 25 in the future.

The new office, located at 9 King Street, was formerly occupied by Allied Healthcare and will cater to local talent experienced in telemarketing.

Greg Girard, the company’s managing director, commented: “We have chosen Rothesay to keep the business local but also because locating here gives us a new pool of talent to draw from.”

Girard highlighted the opportunity to support the local community, while also benefiting the business.

Currently, the Rothesay office will service a major client in the retail sector, with plans to expand into the financial and medical sectors.

CX Services provides direct mail, order fulfilment, and call centre outsourcing among its offerings.

Operations Director Andy Hore added: “Following our fifth anniversary, we are delighted to offer employment opportunities to another rural area in Scotland.”

The Argyllshire-based company has seen significant growth, with turnover increasing by 40% to £1.7m.

Girard is targeting a further rise to £2.5m over the next five years, which will also see further job creation across the region.
