Miranda Hart’s husband revealed as couple snapped on romantic London bike ride --[Reported by Umva mag]

Miranda Hart’s new husband may have been revealed, as the comedian was snapped with a mystery man on a bike ride near her West London home.

Miranda, 51, revealed earlier this week on The One Show that she is married after meeting Mr Right at the age of 49.

‘I got married!’ she announced, as she moved a ring from one of her right fingers to her left.

‘I can now say that someone put a ring on it,’ she added as hosts Alex Jones and Alex Scott applauded and cheered.

‘I got married at 51. It’s just so lovely. I’d written Gary for on-screen Miranda, and it wasn’t until I was 49 that I met my person.’

She went on to say she wouldn’t reveal how they met, but that it was detailed in her book – which was released today.

‘He is my best friend, and we have the best fun and I am thrilled to be a young bride at 51!’ she added.

After the show, Miranda shared a post of herself in the backseat of a taxi with her husband.

The actress gave fans a glimpse of her husband’s hand, but has chosen not to reveal his identity, suggesting he is someone who lives out of the limelight.

Interest in the identity of Miranda’s husband has skyrocketed, and people have recently uncovered a sweet image of the star on a bike ride with a mystery man last year.

The pair appeared to be enjoying the evening sun and having what looked like a wholesome date in West London.

The source who snapped the image told MailOnline: ‘I spotted Miranda cycling down the towpath last year with a gentleman and it did get me thinking whether they were together.’

‘I took the picture of her and the man, who we believe to be her partner, riding a bike down on the towpath near Hammersmith Bridge.’

Although not much can be gauged from the cycling image, a man with a similar look was seen taking boxes from Miranda’s home in West London and putting them into a car just a few days ago.

In her newly released book, I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You, she revealed she met the building surveyor when he came over to sort a mould issue in her £ 2 million home.

She didn’t name him but instead called him ‘Mould Man’ or ‘The Boy from Bristol’ throughout her book. She also described his looks as: ‘salt-and-pepper greying hair look on a fine-featured man’.

Miranda also revealed they got engaged in Kew Gardens. ‘We stood still on the bridge overlooking the lake when the silence was pierced as he rather seriously said, “Miranda”. I turned around and as I did he got down on one knee. “Miranda…”

‘I don’t remember anything else because I simply burst out crying, apparently saying yes before he had finished the sentence (awkward if he’d been tying a shoelace…)’

She added: ‘I didn’t think a traditional proposal would affect me so. 

‘But there was someone knowing all my ridiculousness and brokenness and still willing to bend down, lookup and commit to loving me and standing by me for the rest of his life.’
