Train passengers in north London are still experiencing delays after a fire next to the track yesterday.

Nearly a full day on from the fire next to the rails in Stevenage, services are still being disrupted as it caused significant damage to signalling equipment.

No trains are able to run between Stevenage and Gordon Hill, and National Rail say the disruption could last until 3pm, with delays of up to an hour expected.

It’s also causing problems on services to and from Kings Cross, and no trains are able to stop at Watton-at-Stone, Hertford North, Bayford, Cuffley and Crews Hill stations.
